I’ve always been attracted to longform journalism – as both a consumer and a creator.
Documentaries are the visual, moving-picture comparison to a long, written feature or a book. As the journalist, I immerse myself in the story, spending as little as a full week or several years shooting, interviewing, researching and following the story.
For my clients, it gives them a chance to show stories like:
- a development process over time
- the mission and vision of an organization and the challenges of getting there
- an in-depth look at a concrete project or venture
- what your organization means to its members and society as we follow it over time
