El Paso Water has installed Kando sensors in manholes around the city. The sensors send real-time data back to utility El Paso Water with several factors on wastewater quality, alerting for dangerous “pollution events” (like illegal chemical dumps) and even pinpointing where they are coming from.
“Before we had this technology available, we had to be in the right place at the right time in order to find a pollution event,” says Angel Bustamante, Wastewater Systems Operations Manager.
“With Kando, it’s like multiplying our workforce. We have instruments all over town, where we don’t have to worry about catching someone in action.”
This Kando case is an example of how an informative, storytelling video about a company’s product can also be used to brand a company.
